These terms apply to the website fengshui.app and the Fengshui app for iPhone, both operated by Fengshui, Inc. By using either, you agree to them.

What the app is, and what it is not

The app measures rooms and homes and offers interpretations drawn from Feng Shui traditions. Measurements are estimates from your device’s sensors and may be imprecise. Interpretations describe what a tradition holds; they are cultural and educational information, not facts about your future.

Nothing in the app or on this website is medical, psychological, financial, legal, architectural, structural or real estate advice. The app makes no prediction about your health, wealth, relationships or any other outcome, and you should not rely on it for such decisions. Before moving heavy furniture, changing a building or buying a property, use your own judgement and, where appropriate, a qualified professional.

Your account

You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in secure. You must be at least 13 years old to use the app, and old enough to form a binding contract where you live, or have a parent’s or guardian’s permission.

Your content

Your scans, rooms, homes and the details you enter remain yours. You give us permission to store and process them only as needed to run the app for you, as described in our Privacy policy. Please scan only spaces you have the right to scan.

Subscriptions and purchases

Some features may require a purchase or a subscription bought through Apple’s App Store. Prices are shown before you buy. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel them in your Apple account settings, and refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the app or the website: do not attempt to break or overload them, reverse engineer them except where the law allows, use them to violate anyone’s privacy, or use them unlawfully.

Our content

The app, its software, its text and its design belong to Fengshui, Inc. or its licensors. Historical artworks shown on this website are in the public domain or used under the licences credited on the page where they appear.

Apple

These terms are between you and Fengshui, Inc., not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, has no obligation to provide support for it, and is a third-party beneficiary of these terms with the right to enforce them against you. Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to your use of the app.

Disclaimers and limits

The app and website are provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, Fengshui, Inc. is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before it arose.

Ending

You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive will survive.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, unless the law where you live requires otherwise.
